The Roman theatre is located just at the foot of the Alcazaba and used to some extent as a place for hiding certain architectural pieces that the Muslims used to erect the Alcazaba. Part of the proscenium is preserved as well as an entrance gallery to this part, the ruins of what were the orchestra and a part of the cavea.
