The Sanctuary of the Virgin of Victory was built to house the image of the Virgin that had arrived with the Catholic Monarchs' entourage and, after the city was conquered in August 1478, would become the patron saint of Málaga. Inside, the Andalusian baroque style dominates with Mudejar influences. The crypt and the tomb of the Counts of Buenavista are especially beautiful.
